Job description

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to join as a Functional Skills Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering Functional Skills courses for military learners.

Key Outputs:

  • Administer and coordinate English and Mathematics Functional Skills
  • Register apprentices on the BKSB e-learning platform and monitor their progress
  • Manage Awarding Organisation registration and certification processes
  • Coordinate Functional Skills apprentices and liaise with military points of contact
  • Update attendance registers and course schedules
  • Assist with tutor allocations and programme planning
  • Schedule examinations and manage invigilators
  • Monitor and record Functional Skills results

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:


  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage deadlines and priorities


  • Level 2 Business Administration qualification
  • Knowledge of the Functional Skills framework
  • Experience with MIS data processing
  • Familiarity with Apprenticeship delivery
  • Experience working with military training contracts

Location: Worthy Down, Minley, Aldershot (Hybrid Role)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,500 per annum
