JOB DESCRIPTION
- Salary: £28,000 to £31,000
- Location: Remote, covering the Birmingham and Coventry area
- Role: Adult Care Training Assessor
We're seeking an experienced care professional to join our client's Health & Social Care Team as a Trainer. You'll cover a geographical area spanning Birmingham and Coventry, delivering training to a caseload of Apprentices both online from home and face-to-face in their workplaces. Access to a vehicle and a full driving license are essential.
As part of a regional team of trainers, you'll mentor employees in the Health & Social Care sector as they work towards completing their apprenticeship program. Whether you have previous staff development experience or not, we offer a full-time permanent position, comprehensive training, and full support to obtain your teaching and assessing qualifications.
Main duties:
- Enrolling learners onto government-funded apprenticeship programs.
- Conducting training, assessment, and progression of learners through face-to-face or online sessions.
- Efficient diary management to ensure comprehensive support for all learners within your caseload.
- Working towards targets and KPIs.
- Maintaining and recording learner progression and evidence using various software.
- Soliciting feedback from employers and customers.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in Health & Social Care (e.g., care homes, domiciliary care, residential care) at a supervisory/management level.
- Minimum qualification of Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Strong Maths & English skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
