Job description

Sales Support Coordinator
Our client, represents one of the world's leading aircraft engine manufacturers in the Aerospace MRO sector. As the exclusive service centre for all operations located in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, our client provides comprehensive after-sales support, including repair and overhaul, engine sales, engine fleet management, customer support, and logistic support functions. To support the growth of their engine sales business, they are seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the EMEA Sales Director and Regional Sales Managers with the generation and management of proposals, quotations, and contracts for the sale of spare and exchange engines.
  2. Coordinate with the central engine sales teams for all engine sales transactions.
  3. Manage and administer purchase orders and pre-payment requests for engine sales on SAP.
  4. Track core engine returns from customers for exchange transactions and coordinate with the Logistics team.
  5. Manage any non-compliant core engines and ensure respective core charges are invoiced accordingly.
  6. Assist with the sales forecasting and analysis of the engine sales business to support overall business planning.
  7. Track and update opportunities for engine sales and engine repair & overhaul inductions on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  8. Support the Regional Sales Manager team in providing visibility of shop induction planning.
  9. Coordinate the generation and approval of any sales concessions.
  10. Undertake various projects in support of the EMEA sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with senior managers internally as well as customers.
  • Very effective organisational abilities, analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent general computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and SAP.
  • Previous experience in generating commercial proposals.
  • Additional language skills (e.g. French) and SAP experience would be an advantage.
  • Some travel may be required.


This is a permanent position offering a salary of £30,000 - £40,000, with a flexible working schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). As a Sales Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales director in quotes, contracts, purchase orders, and exchange parts.
