Job description
We are delighted to be partnering with a leading global high-tech electronics manufacturer that work within Defence and has strong ties with global government agencies, platform manufacturers, and other local suppliers around the world and they are recognised as both global leaders & experts.
Considered a major manufacturer that supply cutting-edge and ground-breaking products, services and solutions across Military Radars, Sensors, Cyber, Surveillance and Optoelectronics in both the commercial and defence markets worldwide.
As the Regional Business Development Lead you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities in the UAE and Kuwait markets, in alignment with our company's technical and economic objectives. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring continued loyalty even after contract signings. Additionally, you will spearhead the establishment and growth of strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of market strategies tailored to the UAE, focusing on Land and/or Naval Forces, and execute these strategies to achieve regional goals.
- Create and implement Capture Plans for identified prospects and campaigns, driving sales success.
- Cultivate a robust and sustainable customer-oriented network, including key industrial partners like the EDGE group and their entities.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government authorities.
- Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within assigned markets, converting them into successful sales campaigns.
- Ensure efficient acquisition processes are followed, in compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Provide support for order intake planning and achievement, aligning with regional and product-specific targets.
- Assist in contract negotiations, collaborating closely with Product Sales teams.
- Represent our company at industry exhibitions and events, showcasing our solutions and expertise.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in international sales and business development within the MENA region.
- Profound understanding of the defense landscape in the Middle East, including procurement processes.
- Strong network within the defense ecosystem, with connections to end-users and procurement organizations.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close customer contracts.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Middle East region, with occasional trips to Germany.
- A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field related to defense industry/technologies.
