Job description

Due to expansion, my client based in Leatherhead is currently seeking a Sales Manager to join their team, reporting to the Head of Sales and assisting in the development of junior sales staff.

If you thrive on the potential for uncapped commission with every sale, without any threshold, and seek a role in a growing company with opportunities for leadership, then this position could be ideal for you. Previous experience in aviation sales would be highly advantageous.

The role primarily focuses on sales within Europe, with additional responsibilities for driving growth in new sectors. Leveraging your existing network and industry knowledge, you will support sales efforts, acquire new clients, and boost sales revenue and profitability.

As a Sales Manager, you will showcase your ability to identify leads, potential clients, and opportunities within existing accounts. Your duties will include assessing opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Strong organizational skills, adherence to tight timelines, and effective interpersonal abilities are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client meetings globally, both virtually and in person.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues to enhance their skills and foster growth.
  • Acquire and retain new business to expand the customer base.
  • Develop existing accounts by identifying new revenue streams and increasing market share.
  • Initiate follow-up on key opportunities and maintain detailed records of all activities.
