My client have an exicting opportunity for and Inventory controller/manager to join them of a permanent basis to look after a small team and the development of startegy ensuring the most efficent return on stock.

This is a great role that will involve implementing, strategising and setting goals, and objectives to improve supply chain performance the role will manage forecasting system with assistance of IT department.
Location - West Sussex
Salary - £32000 - 38000
Roles and responsibilities of the inventory/controller manager -
Full implementation of Product Life Cycle Management
Liaise with Warehouse manager to plan & implement UK Distribution centre.
Overseeing company spend & stock levels f
Manage in conjunction with Supply Director of all suppliers regarding all aspects of delivery, lead times & MOQ.
Integration of departments - work alongside NPD/NPI/Compliance to ensure that product introductions, replenishments and sunsetting is managed effectively and efficiently, maintaining required availability and visibility of Inventory through the lifecycle stages
Line Management of the Purchasing Team, including Holiday/Sickness cover
The ideal candidate for the role of inventory controller/manager -
Demand planning / procurement professional with experience in a manufacturing or retail environment
Strong stakeholder / supplier management experience
Experience leading & implementing projects from start to finish
Proficiency in the use of Excel and other Inventory management/planning BI tools experience highly desirable
Proven problem solving, planning and analytical skills, high standard of numeracy
Cradle to grave Product life cycle management experience
Advanced numeric and analytical skills
CIPS Qualified or part-qualified desirable
