Job description
Global business are looking to hire a recent graduate seeking a career in procurement. Graduate calibre, Junior Buyers can also be considered. Applicants should be seeking a progressive career within the procurement/supply chain space.
The Graduate Buyer / Junior Buyer will join a large sourcing team - supporting management in the coordination and execution of procurement activity.
Specific duties of the Graduate Buyer / Junior Buyer include:
- Placing of Purchase Orders with suppliers
- Expediting suppliers for delivery dates/statuses
- Build relationships with stakeholders in engineering and projects
- Manage the administration of contracts and POs in MRP system, supplier and other procurement data
Graduate Buyer / Junior Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Educated to degree level, or be of graduate calibre with procurement/supply chain experience
- Relationship building skills - internally and externally
- Analytical abilities - ideally a competence with MS Excel
- Desire to build a progressive career within procurement
