Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management
- Raising Purchase orders
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve cost-effectiveness and supplier performance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide expert advice
- Monitor market trends and evaluate suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain within the construction/utilies industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Dynamics 365 experience - Highly Advantageous
Salary: Up to £28,000
