Job summary

Our client, a leading aerospace organization, is seeking 2 x Buyers to join their Procurement Supply Chain team for an initial 6 month duration. This is a contract position within central east Scotland, with onsite presence once fortnightly.

Job Requirements

  • Significant experience in Senior Buyer and Buyer roles
  • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry
  • Experience in elec and mech

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for assigned projects
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues
  • Conduct market research to stay up to date with industry trends
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
