Job Description:
In this pivotal role, the individual will spearhead project management activities and support business development initiatives in the energy transition sector. Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including the Business Development Manager, internal stakeholders, and various departments, will be key. Additionally, engagement with external stakeholders such as commercial partners, advisory services, industry bodies, and regulatory authorities to advance energy transition topics related to energy transition, with a primary focus on Carbon Capture and Storage, Renewables, Upstream exploration, and Related areas.
Purpose:
- Provide project management support to the BDM and Managing Director for business development initiatives.
- Establish internal procedures to monitor progress and manage risks.
- Communicate the company's BD objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with the BDM to plan, organise, and execute business development initiatives.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Establish internal reporting routines and monitor project progress.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and potential partners.
- Analyse market dynamics and provide insights for business development strategies.
- Strategy Development | Client Engagement | Relationship Management:
- Formulate effective business development strategies aligned with the company and Group objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in the energy sector.
- Appreciation of business development
- Strong analytical skills and market research experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
