Our client are seeking an operations administrator to join their team for an initial 6 month contract, based in Farnborough. This is site based, working 0800-1630 Monday to Thursday and 0800-11330 on Friday.

Operations Team Administrator

Administrative Support to Operations/Engineering/Programme Managment/Finance/Purchasing:

Day to day administrative support, including arranging and supporting meetings, holiday co-ordination, tracking and progressing regular reports and general tasks such as filing, distribution of post, procurement of office consumables, reception cover etc.
Arranging lunches for Visitors as requested by Ops/PM/Engineering and other departments.
Other ad-hoc tasks and duties within the scope of an administrator


  • GSCE Maths and English Grade C or above
  • Business Administration qualification or formal training in general secretarial and office administration duties.


  • Extensive experience working in an office environment required, including the ability to interface efficiently with senior staff and senior staff from customers and peer companies.


  • PC Literate, including high standard in all Microsoft office applications i.e. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Proficient in the use of E-mail (Outlook) and Internet required
  • Ability to listen to a complex briefing or instruction then use initiative to act upon it and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Able to prioritise and complete regular and individual tasks to required timescales


  • Excellent organisational ability and forward planning skills
  • Self driven, results orientated with a positive disposition
  • Reliable and a good team player
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
