Job description
Our client, a leading global technology company, is seeking a highly motivated Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced financial professional to contribute to project profitability analysis, financial reporting, and process optimisation within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register business opportunities and projects in Salesforce and SAP.
- Manage the Project Master Tracker, ensuring accurate records of billing, sales revenue, costs, and expected profit.
- Process direct costs, including purchase order requests and inspection request submissions.
- Verify expense details and manage intercompany cost recharges.
- Prepare billing and upload invoices to customer-owned systems.
- Support project managers in managing accounts receivable (AR) overdue.
- Create rolling financial plans and monitor revenue and cost recognition.
- Assist with month-end financial closing, including labour cost allocation and accrual preparation.
- Generate financial reports, analysing variances between forecasts, annual plans, and actual figures.
- Prepare the annual financial plan for the following year.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications (essential).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable.
Hours & Benefits:
- 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility required for urgent projects.
- 25 days plus bank holidays.
- Bonus: Performance-based discretionary bonus (after probation period).
