Job description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Tutor to coach, mentor, and assess Level 3 apprentices in Mechatronics, Electrical, and Mechanical pathways. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to pass on your industry expertise through hands-on training in both classroom and workplace settings.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions in classroom and workshop environments.
Mentor and assess apprentices, ensuring they develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours for their qualifications.
Manage a caseload of learners, setting and tracking progress targets via OneFile.
Work collaboratively with employers to support apprentice's workplace learning.
Prepare learners for End-Point Assessments (EPA), ensuring high achievement rates.
Embed functional skills (Maths & English) into training delivery.
Provide high-quality marking, feedback, and learner support.
Maintain compliance with Ofsted and funding requirements.
What We're Looking For
🔹 Essential:
Industry experience in Engineering (minimum Level 3 qualification).
Functional Skills Level 2 (or willingness to achieve).
Ability to deliver effective coaching and engaging training sessions.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to plan, prioritise, and achieve KPIs.
🔹 Desirable:
Teaching or coaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, CTTLS, etc.).
Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/33).
Knowledge of government-funded training programs.
