My client are a specialist manufacturing organisation who operate in over 40 countries world wide who are currently looking for a sourcing specialist to join there innovative procurement division.
The role of the sourcing specialist will support in leading sourcing projects on behalf of the company within multiple geographical locations. The strategic sourcing specialist will liaise with Internal/External Stakeholders to identify key business needs, influencing them to understand the benefits of Procurement and meeting their needs effectively.

The roles and responsibilities of the strategic sourcing specialist -
You will analyse marketing industry trends and conditions that affect internal/external stakeholders and external suppliers and/or pricing.
You will manage end-to-end sourcing for Key Commodities incorporating spend & risk mitigation strategies involving: baseline spend analysis, requirements planning, market analysis, strategy development, risk management, competitive bidding supplier's negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, cost saving and performance reporting.
You shall prepare, execute clear structured negotiations following defined strategic sourcing methodology (e.g., negotiating, change management, contract management
You will evaluate suppliers, develop and lead RFQ process for multiple commodities within direct & indirect categories
You will analyse tenders based on total cost/ supply to identify opportunities to achieve optimal value.
Formulate, agree and maintain commercial terms and conditions, service level and supply agreements
The ideal candidate for this role will have -
Degree or equivalent purchasing qualification
Skilled in generating savings and margin expansion
Experienced and skilled in supplier sourcing
A track record in delivering superior results on procurement projects within multiple Indirect categories
Strong numerical skills with the ability to create and analyse data
Excellent IT skills
Decision Making / Problem Solving. Can collate information, analyse and make decisions based on experience and commercial judgment. Experience/responsibility for making decisions that has significant impact on an organisation's operational and financial performance.
