Barclay Meade is working with a Southampton based business who are looking to recruit a Controls and Risk Accountant for a 6-9 month FTC.

Barclay Meade is proud to be partnering with a Southampton based employer of choice. As the newly appointed Controls and Risk Accountant you will work as part of a project team responsible for the documentation of the processes and the key controls across a suite of financial reporting requirements.
You will play a pivotal part in developing relationships with the business unit leaders and tasks performed associated with financial returns and ensure that all data, data providers and requirements of the reporting risk policies are met.
This opportunity would suit a collaborator who likes to take accountability for project delivery and has a proven track record in a risk and controls environment.
You will be responsible for:
Providing solutions to problems
End to end process development and controls testing
Relationship building across the organisation
Project delivery
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience within a SOX environment.
Qualified Accountant
