Job description
Leading utilities business requires a Senior Procurement Operations Manager. Applicants need deep knowledge of procurement tools and systems such as; P2P, S2P or ERP, have leadership skills and experience in a procurement operations, process or best practice / excellence role.
The Senior Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for providing expert knowledge on procurement process and systems, and contribute to the design, development, implementation and optimization of a new procurement S2P platform. The role will have 4 direct reports across; data management, systems support, policy and procurement operations.
Specific duties of the Senior Procurement Operations Manager include:
- Manage and maintain key elements and processes of the P2P system
- Implement new procurement technologies - S2P, design , development, implement, roll out, processes, optimization
- Support the optimization of procurement processes
- Ownership of procurement department data, analytics and processes
- Management of 4 direct reports across; Data, Systems Support, Procurement Policy
Senior Procurement Operations Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Deep/expert level knowledge in regards to procurement technology, systems, P2P, ERP, S2P etc.
- Experience of supporting a large system implementation - ERP, P2P, S2P etc.
- Previous experience within a; procurement operations, policy, process, governance, systems, operations/best practice or transformation role
- Previous experience of managing staff
- Comfortable with hybrid working - 2 days per week in Worthing, BN13
