Job description
This permanent role is pivotal, with a global remit to enhance sourcing and customer services within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing global procurement strategies
- Driving added value and efficiency in global procurement operations
- Engaging with senior audiences and demonstrating strong leadership and gravitas
- Managing procurement initiatives across various corporate categories or the entire business
- Collaborating with technical and strategic teams to delve deeper into procurement processes
- Optimising sourcing activities to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement
- Ensuring excellent customer service in procurement functions globally
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Director, ideally within a global pharmaceutical company
- Strong track record of implementing successful procurement strategies
- Technical competence in procurement processes and methodologies
- Ability to think and act strategically
- Experience in managing global procurement operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage senior stakeholders
- Experience from a larger corporate environment is highly desirable
