You'll take the lead in shaping and delivering cutting-edge pilot training across the entire operation - both AOC and ATO - ensuring that safety, excellence, and regulatory compliance remain at the core of everything.
As a Post Holder, this role is subject to UK CAA approval and comes with a level of influence and responsibility that will appeal to those ready to elevate their career.

✔ Be hands-on - maintain a line pilot qualification and continue flying operationally when needed
✔ Work closely with fellow nominated post holders and the Chief Pilot
✔ Influence policy, training innovation, and pilot development at the highest level
We're especially keen to hear from candidates with demonstrable experience on Boeing aircraft within a commercial airline or charter environment. Your insights will be crucial to maintaining fleet-specific excellence and ensuring our training remains aligned with real-world operational demands.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing and developing the structure, resources, and tools needed for all pilot training
- Leading the implementation of aircrew training and testing programmes in full regulatory compliance
- Supervising and evaluating student pilot progress and maintaining robust training records
- Managing relationships with external training providers to ensure quality and compliance
- Developing and updating all flightcrew training materials, including the OMD and ATO Manual
- Recruiting, mentoring and managing the Fleet Training Team
- Acting as the primary liaison with the CAA on training matters and ensuring timely submissions
- Leading safety initiatives for the ATO and participating in Company Safety Review Boards
- Line management of the Training Planning Supervisor
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- UK CPL(A) or ATPL(A) with TRI or SFI rating
- Deep understanding of ATO operations, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards
- Previous experience on Boeing aircraft (e.g., 737, 757, 767) in a commercial aerospace setting is highly desirable
- A strong leadership mindset, capable of influencing, mentoring and driving high performance
What You'll Get in Return:
- Competitive salary reflective of your skills and seniority
- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays from day one
- 5% matched pension scheme
- Private health care, group life insurance, and wellbeing support through our EAP
- A company that values equity, diversity, and inclusion, and is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer
