My client have a fantatsic permanent role to join them as warehouse manager looking after two of their key warehouses.
As the Warehouse Operations Manager you will lead all elements of the 24hr warehouse operation, delivering exceptional service within budget and H&S parameters.
Location - Port Glasgow
Salary - up to £55k dependant on experience
This role will be based between Greenock and Port Glasgow and reporting in to the Head of Operations some of your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and developing your team to deliver high performance when it comes to the achievement of daily/weekly/monthly KPI's for the warehouse function.
Leading the team across a 3 shift pattern and creating an engaged environment and collaborative culture.
Ensuring all warehouse operational compliance, to include all H&S.
Communication and engagement with multiple stakeholders across all levels.
Control all department resources and costs within agreed finance budget.
Take an inclusive approach to driving continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate for the role will have -
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in leading teams across multiple sites
Ideally experience in the marine industry
PC Literate - Email (Outlook), MS Office (Excel, Word, Access), Use of MRP and Warehouse management systems
Previous experience of working in a production stores environment is essential
Experience in working to processes compliant procedures
Highly motivated - able to work as part of a small team as well as the initiative to work alone when required.
Able to demonstrate a flexible and dynamic approach to all tasks set.
Effective time management - able to work within tight timescales in line with production needs
