Field Sales Manager
Barclay Meade are suporting a large, international business who are searching for a Sales manager to Manage the field sales team.
The primary purpose of the Field Sales Manager is to reruit, develop, motivate and lead the area sales managers to ensure regional success.
You will also set and deliver the sales targets for the region as agreed with the Sales Director and keep up to date with the lates changes and developments within the market.
Other key duties include:
Formulation and execution of the sales strategy.
Develop and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports against key criteria.
Train and develop staff to assist in the ongoing personal development of each member.
Assist the sales team to prepare, present, and win orders.
Undertake any special sales and marketing projects as directed by the company.
Develop strategies for first class customer relationships.
Lead and run regular sales meetings to inspire and develop the sales team.
Candidate key skills / background.
Direct B2B sales experience, ideally capital goods equipment or logistics.
Experience leading and developing a team.
Product, sector and industry knowledge, commercially minded.
Knowledge of storage and logistics systems, PC literate
Understanding of marketing principles and account planning processes.
Able to communicate convincingly both orally and in writing to all levels.
Experience of selling equipment and service contracts
