The Job

This is a key role within the business and will ideally be supporting the clients management team in their growth plans.

Location - Littlehampton

Salary - £35 - 45k.

The roles and responsibilities of this role will be -

Support to co-ordinate all aspects of production planning, material control, shop floor scheduling and labour capacity planning

Prepare and issue shop floor documentation to meet the Production Schedule

Works to resolve, labour and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.

Liaise with customers to communicate delays and to resolve any delivery queries

Consolidation of various delivery commitments from Cell Leaders and Purchasing into one agreed order schedule, whilst achieving customer satisfaction.

Processing Engineering Change Orders, Custom BoM (Bill of Materials) releases and new product Introductions into existing production

Provide accurate, timely and concise feedback to keep account reps / operations team members/supply chain in the look

Take a lead role in the ongoing improvement in manufacturing data accuracy.

Analyzes long lead time parts and works with purchasing to develop custom supply solutions (e.g. point-of-use material, line-side stocking, kanban, min-max supply, etc.)

Producing Key Performance Indicator and management reports

The ideal candidate for this role will have -

Ability to present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.

Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand, product description, and material demand.

Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to effectively balance multiple priorities

Minimum of three to five years of production planning or material management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Experience in a high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing environment.3. Proven track record of success and growth in positions of increasing responsibility.

Previous experience with SAP
