My client are a global manufacturing organisation who are currenatly looking for a supply planner to join on a permanent basis, this role will be based in central London.


Experience in a planning capacity

The Job

The Supply Planner will have responsibility for executing supply chain and inventory based activities. This will include the creation and management of supply plans, end to end capacity planning, and contingency planning as required, to assure the highest levels of customer service and the most efficient low cost solutions are achieved for the platform and its clients.

The roles and responsibilities for this role are -

Accountable for successful collaboration with Clients and Suppliers to prioritise and deliver supply planning services that meet or exceed the business needs

Create, execute and manage new release plans, catalogue and campaign plans for assigned catalogue content

Provide insight and context into client approved demand numbers to facilitate downstream inventory planning activities

Responsible for owning client and supplier relationships, including issue resolution management, status briefings, performance management, KPI's, communication optimisation, and process/procedure development.

Must act as an advocate for the client/vendor within the organisation and provide excellent customer service and accountability while driving results.

KPI reporting, including reviewing the performance of Suppliers to deliver OTIF, their level of customer service and product quality on a title-by-title basis and documenting any issues in the supplier database

Provide planned and ad hoc reporting as scheduled and/or requested

Develop and provide materials that may be used in presentations to Clients

The ideal candidate for this role will have -

Proven experience in a supply planning role with a particular emphasis on manufacturing planning, replenishment, inventory planning, procurement, analysis, and modeling required

Proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio)

Expresses and develops written ideas, thoughts, or facts in a clear, convincing, and organized way

Embraces teamwork; shares ideas / methods to improve performance but also able to work autonomously

Ability to analyse data and trends, make educated conclusions and provide recommendations in a clear and concise manner

Ability to apply learned forecast analytics

Is adept at implementing and/or designing statistical metrics

Demonstrates experience in extracting and segmenting data to facilitate data analysis.
