Job description

Our client, a prominent organisation in the procurement sector, is currently seeking a Legal Counsel with a speciality in employment law for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on UK employment matters including tribunals, grievances, and senior-level issues
• Providing support across Globe House, Southampton R&D, and Chiswick sites
• Acting as a legal business partner to senior leaders and HR
• Handling contract reviews, policy updates, and high-volume casework from sales teams to scientists
• Backfilling key members of the employment legal team during a high-impact 2-year project

Job Requirements:

• Strong experience in UK employment law, either in-house or within private practice with hands-on client exposure
• Confidence in handling both strategic and day-to-day issues
• Excellent relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, and emotional intelligence
