Job description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the procurement sector, is currently seeking a Legal Counsel with a speciality in employment law for a contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on UK employment matters including tribunals, grievances, and senior-level issues
- Providing support across Globe House, Southampton R&D, and Chiswick sites
- Acting as a legal business partner to senior leaders and HR
- Handling contract reviews, policy updates, and high-volume casework from sales teams to scientists
- Backfilling key members of the employment legal team during a high-impact 2-year project
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in UK employment law, either in-house or within private practice with hands-on client exposure
- Confidence in handling both strategic and day-to-day issues
- Excellent relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, and emotional intelligence
