Job description

My client is a leading player in the procurement and supply chain sector, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment, working with the import and export of global food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands

  • Plan delivery schedules and liaise with transport providers

  • Monitor and review transportation costs to optimize efficiency

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and loadings using Microsoft Business Central and Excel

  • Track shipments and prepare necessary transportation documentation

  • Communicate effectively with internal departments across the company

  • Work closely with Account Managers to fulfill customer delivery requirements

  • Process invoices and consignments using Microsoft Business Central

  • Liaise with suppliers and customers, resolving issues or complaints promptly

  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics team

Job Requirements:

  • Strong administrative skills, including accurate data entry

  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain coordination

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills

  • Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Fluency in English; additional languages (especially French) are a plus
