Job description

My client is a leading player in the technology and procurement supply chain sector, is seeking a Strategic Planning Specialist to join their MKT MSP Team in Surrey. This 12-month fixed-term contract role will support the planning, business development, and documentation aligned with company strategy and methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting strategy, planning, and summarising services within the team
  • Provide professional advice on strategic planning matters
  • Turn executive requirements into clear, well-organised documents within deadlines
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to service delivery and planning inquiries
  • Prepare timely, accurate reports and data for planning purposes
  • Produce executive summaries for key stakeholders in response to market opportunities
  • Register business opportunities and manage projects in Salesforce and SAP
  • Oversee the Project Master Tracker (Customer Contact, Billing, Sales Revenue, Costs, Expected Profit)
  • Create rolling sales revenue and profit plans, and assist in preparing the annual plan

Key Liaisons

  • Internal: Sales team, Project Managers, Procurement team, Legal team
  • External: Customers, Vendors, and Samsung-affiliated clients (Electronics, Cheil, etc.)

Job Requirements

  • Experience in Business Management, Computer Science, IT, or related fields
  • Experience in strategic planning and communication through reports
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Korean companies is a plus

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 hours per week, with some weekend and evening work for urgent projects
