Job Title: Supply Network Planner - Production Planning & Scheduling

Location: Southampton (Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site After 2 Weeks)
Rate: £194 per day
Contract Type: Temporary/Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Supply Network Planner with strong expertise in Production Planning & Scheduling to join our team in Southampton. This role focuses on optimising supply chain processes, ensuring smooth production schedules, and managing inventory efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute production planning and scheduling strategies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Utilise SAP and other ERP systems to manage material planning, production scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Monitor and adjust production schedules based on demand fluctuations, supplier constraints, and capacity limitations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and factory teams to optimise material flow and minimise disruptions.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure accurate master data management within SAP to support efficient planning and scheduling.
  • Work closely with suppliers and logistics providers to manage lead times and mitigate risks.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives, integrating tools like Hive, Clear Metal, and PBI into planning processes.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry best practices in inventory and supply chain management.

Key Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in SAP (Planning & Scheduling modules) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain coordination.
  • Analytic mindset with problem-solving skills to optimise planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics is an advantage.

Work Arrangement:

  • Initial 2 weeks fully on-site in Southampton.
  • Hybrid model: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote after the first 2 weeks.
