Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and negotiating terms and conditions in complex contracting environments

• Utilising commercial acumen to negotiate effectively and deliver robust bid proposals

• Managing supplier risk and opportunities comprehensively

• Working with toolsets and IT systems such as ERP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Compiling data, analysing results, and proposing recommendations through reports and presentations

• Collaborating and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement environment

Job Requirements:

• Experience in procurement within the defence sector

• Understanding of terminology and language required for developing terms and conditions

• Knowledge of pricing and costing techniques in commercial negotiations

• Proficiency in supplier risk and opportunity management

• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and report writing skills

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

• Continuous improvement mindset with proven problem-solving skills
