Job description


Our client, a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, is currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their team in the Aerospace MRO sector. This permanent role is pivotal in managing and nurturing key client accounts within the aviation industry, ensuring the successful delivery of services and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and strengthening relationships with key clients, particularly airlines and VIP customers.
  • Ensuring transparency in dealings to build trust and increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Supervising and assisting other account managers while managing assigned accounts.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts and collaborating with internal teams to fulfil client expectations.
  • Mentoring and upskilling account managers alongside the Commercial Director.
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Manager and Commercial Director to meet company goals.
  • Handling legal and contractual matters, ideally with Part 145 experience.
  • Implementing effective negotiation strategies to resolve issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the aviation industry, particularly within Part 145 regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to an advanced level.
  • Legal and contractual knowledge relevant to the aviation sector.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and relationships simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Professional approach with a constant drive for improvement.
