Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security industry, is currently seeking a Supply Chain Advisor to join their team. This is a contract position with a duration of 12 months, based at Portsmouth Naval Base. The role requires you to work 3 days a week, with Wednesdays being mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supply chain support within the Maritime Services sector
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations and efficient supply chain management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address supply chain issues
• Assist with procurement activities and supplier relationship management
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes
• Utilize SAP and Microsoft tools for data management and analysis

Job Requirements:

• Experience in supply chain or purchasing
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable, but training can be provided
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Our client offers a supportive team culture and encourages activities outside of work. Please note that there is no lift access to the second floor. This role involves providing support for warship operations.
