Job description
A global engineering business require a Supply Chain Data Analyst. Applicants need MS Excel skills to create; reports, KPIs, tools and spreadsheets to support supply chain planning and manufacturing activities. Graduates with MS Excel and analytical skills, welcome to apply.
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will report to a Supply Chain Planning Manager. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for manipulating and analysing data in MS Excel to drive improved performance and efficiencies in supply chain and manufacturing planning. The role will require at least intermediate MS Excel skills - Pivot Tables, VLookup, Formulas (sumif, whatif, countif).
Specific duties of the Supply Chain Data Analyst include:
- Data analysis in MS Excel and MRP/ERP system
- Monitor of inventory levels
- Balance of supply vs. demand through analysis of customer forecast and purchasing activity
- Collaboration with stakeholders in; procurement, production and supply chain
- Look to improve processes and data management within the supply chain planning areas
Supply Chain Data Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience in an analytical role requiring data analysis skill sets, and the creation of KPIs/Reports etc.
- Intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel skills - Pivot table, Vlookup, Graphs, Charts, Formulas etc.
- Previous exposure to; manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics would be advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
