Job description
Our client, a leading consultancy in the IT sector, is seeking a Senior IT Business Development Manager to join their team in Weybridge. This permanent role is pivotal within the Management MSP team, working closely with project partners, internal support teams, and relevant third parties to sell and deliver cutting-edge IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading on flagship projects and developing a sales pipeline.
- Managing a group of 10 or more business development, project management, and technical specialists to fulfil departmental objectives, including financial goals.
- Providing consulting and coordinating new IT solutions to address issues faced by European subsidiaries.
- Structuring and negotiating complex deals with strategic partners and maintaining ongoing relationships.
- Building strategies and managing sales, PM, and tech resources to optimise performance.
- Playing a key role in business development, sales, and new client generation.
- Identifying potential issues and undertaking opportunity assessments for improvement.
- Managing projects from planning through to delivery and ensuring project objectives are met.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in IT business development and sales.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse group of professionals.
- Understanding of cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI and SAP ERP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to propose effective solutions.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
- Strategic thinker with high business intelligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to build and manage relationships with multiple clients and strategic partners.
