My client is looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager to join their team!
Job description
Our well known transportation client is currently seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager for a 6-month contract within the procurement and supply chain sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well known transportation organisation on a hybrid working model with two days a week in the office in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver value through: Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management and the development of commercial processes.
- Identify, negotiate and implement contracts & framework agreements which deliver high value for money.
- Assist reviews/negotiations of contracts.
- Engage with CIPS (or similar) professional training and deputise for the immediate manager when required.
- Prepare timely and accurate management information covering aspects of stakeholder engagement in the procurement lifecycle.
Experience:
- Public sector experience
- SAP experience
- Experience in commercial negotiations
- Experience managing a small team of specialists
- Experience in contract/purchase order management
