Job description

Global medical device business require a Logistics Manager to mange day-to-day relationships with their 3PL provider. Applicants need inventory, fulfilment, logistics or warehouse leadership experienced gained in a global business and SAP literacy.

The Logistics Manager will be based on-site at the 3PL location working as an implant. They will manage day-to-day relationships and communications with he 3PL, ensuring stock availability and accuracy of a range of medical devices to satisfy customer demand.

Specific duties of the Logistics Manager include:

• Management of inventory/stock accuracy
• Daily communication with Customer Services functions across EMEA
• Daily report generation (on time despatch, stock accuracy, inbound dock-to-stock time, spoilage, scrap)
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure appropriate inventory at 3PL location
• Work with 3PL in regards to; cycle counts, scrap processes, quality etc

Logistics Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience in a Warehouse leadership role, or similar position across; supply chain, inventory management, fulfilment
• Previous experience with SAP
• Knowledge of order management and warehouse operations processes
• Previous experience within medical devices, pharmaceutical, life sciences or FMCG would be advantageous
• English speaking
