Job description

Our client, who specialise in the Infrastructure sector, are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a 6-month contract position to work on a project within the Rail Industry within London.

This role will be crucial in supporting the procurement pre-construction function and implementing bid procurement strategies to engage and evaluate the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of bid procurement strategy
• Management of tender activities to achieve the best value procurement solution
• Undertaking supply chain research to identify key partners to support tenders
• Management of supply chain engagement to develop support for pricing, innovation, green solutions, and buy-in
• Supporting and maintaining collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers and subcontractors
• Conducting due diligence on potential supply chain partners

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in procurement and supply chain management
• Experience in the Construction or Rail industry
• NEC contract experience
• CIPS (desirable)
