Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Business Development Manager - EE / Sweden to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the increase of sales and market share in the near term, while developing long-term opportunities.
  • Engage with Government customers and organisations such as MOI, Border Police, Frontex, NSPA, and MOD to gain knowledge about capability gaps that can be addressed with Integrated Mission Systems.
  • Collaborate with Systems Integrators, Installers, and other relevant companies to offer comprehensive solutions to Government customers.
  • Initiate and lead live demonstrations and face-to-face meetings to support sustainable growth in revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Set and achieve both near-term sales and long-term business development goals.
  • Utilise experience from working in System Integration companies, particularly with Border and Defence projects, including internationally funded projects (e.g., via UN, FMF, or FMS).
  • Lead and pursue large program pursuits, supported by cross-functional capture teams.
  • Regularly analyse market needs and competitive scenarios, providing feedback to management.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Defence and Security business development and sales.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Mission Systems for Land, Sea, and Border projects, including C-UAS.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with Government customers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to identify and develop long-term business opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an innovative approach to designing solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and business development targets.
  • Understanding of competitive market dynamics and the ability to provide strategic feedback.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a European team and execute objectives in the Eastern EU market.
