Our client, a leading company in the Procurement Supply Chain industry, is currently seeking a Supply Chain Buyer to join their team on a contract basis. As a Supply Chain Buyer, you will be responsible for managing indirect procurement for professional services.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage procurement strategies for indirect categories, specifically professional services.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations to ensure the selection of high-quality vendors.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing while maintaining service and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in using procurement software and systems.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
