Job description

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Join our team and you can play a pivotal role in compiling and gaining approval for an overall partner strategy.

With the support of external consultants, you will need to build relationships with our product and technology leads to help develop our approach to the supply chain and how we implement solutions that lead to the best business outcomes.

Once strategies are understood, you will be responsible for the whole Source to Contract lifecycle using the appropriate processes and presenting business cases to senior stakeholders to gain their approval.

Once these relationships are in place, you will be responsible for managing our suppliers in this space to ensure that they are performing according to their obligations.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Commercial Strategy and Strategic Decision Making - own relationships with the commercial teams to support the commercial assurance process where commercial controls apply.
- Developing Supply Chain Strategies - form working groups to better understand key issues and how to address them.
- Team Leadership and Development - guide, coach and develop your team.
- Embody a Leadership Mindset - contribute to a respectful, inclusive and collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

- Proven experience as a senior Procurement professional in a technology, engineering or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable experience of managing high-value procurement exercises, with ideally some experience in the Public Sector
- Experience working in a matrix and project-based environment, and with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding of Commercial strategies, pricing models, legal frameworks, and demonstrable experience of writing business cases for internal and external stakeholders.
