Our client who specialises in intelligent drive technology and bespoke services within oil and gas, energy, mining, mechanical engineering, ship technology rail and commercial vehicles is looking for a remote-based sales manager specialising is Cardan Shafts. This is a permanent opportunity including car allowance, company credit card and competitive base salary.

The core responsibilities for the Sales Manager position include:

  • Cultivating strategic contacts within the region and collaborating closely with Product Management.
  • Assuming a leadership role in the entire OTO (Order to Offer) process.
  • Acting as a key contributor in the OTC (Order to Cash) process.
  • Driving expansion and market penetration, handling applications with finesse.
  • Serving as the primary contact for Safeset applications within the UK.
  • Delivering comprehensive monthly sales and opportunity reports, leveraging advanced tools.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to compliance and safety protocols established by our client.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering, particularly in drive lines.
  • A proven track record of success in Technical Sales.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Technical acumen for product selection and calculations.
  • Competence in interpreting and reviewing technical drawings.
  • Advanced IT skills, demonstrating a high level of proficiency.
