Job description

The main purpose of this role will be to develop and apply technical procurement skills to establish and maintain a high performing supply chain into the business.

Location - Near Fareham

Salary - £30 - 40k

The roles and responsibilities will include -

Establishing and developing suppliers for mechanical components, subcontract processing and materials

Technical and delivery performance management of suppliers

Evaluating new and potential suppliers

Obtaining/negotiating pricing, to meet expectations and budget

The raising of Purchase orders, ensuring price, delivery, technical, quality and commercial specifications are correctly defined

The ideally candidate for the role will have -

Strong understanding of technical drawings

Working experience of ERP / MRP systems

Mechanical component/machining engineering background

Aerospace background/knowledge preferred
