Our client is looking for a Assistant Accoutant to join thier team, on a 9-month fixed term contract.
- Assisting the Financial Accountant with all aspects of the month end process.
- Following policy, procedures, and processes, ensuring controls are followed and high levels of accuracy are delivered.
- Taking ownership of queries and driving through resolution of issues.
- Working with the Finance Assistant to ensure the sales and purchase ledger are maintained along with cashbook entries and bank reconciliations.
- Overhead cost analysis against budget.
- Employee expense process, including company credit cards and reimbursing expenses in line with company policy.
- Assisting with the VAT return.
- Assisting with the annual audit.
- Must be AAT fully qualified.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- High commercial and business awareness
- Excellent with Microsoft Excel
- IFS knowledge desirable but not essential
