A global engineering business require a Supply Chain Planning Analyst. Applicants should have experience of planning (inventory, supply chain, material production), intermediate MS Excel skills and MRP experience will also be required.
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst will be responsible for generating schedules to meet manufacturing demand and ensuring requirements are communicated to suppliers to allow for effective supply planning, while appreciating potential capacity and resource constraints.
Specific duties of the Supply Chain Planning Analyst:
- Raise and release job card / works orders
- Generation of production schedules in MRP and MS Excel
- Monitor material shortages - liaison with suppliers and supply chain
- Manage MRP data
- Track progress of manufacturing schedules
Supply Chain Planning Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience of planning (inventory, supply chain, material production) any industry sector - manufacturing, food, FMCG
- Intermediate MS Excel skills or greater
- Comfortable with supply planning and supply chain liaison
- MRP/ERP experience
- Stakeholder engagement skills
