Global engineering business require a Production Planner. Applicants need production planning or production scheduling experience within manufacturing or engineering, MRP/ERP literacy would be ideal, as would comfort with technical stakeholders.
The Production Planner will join a team of Production Planners reporting into a Production Planning Manager. The focus of the role is the generation of production and capacity plans, to meet project and customer demand objectives.
Specific duties of the Production Planner include:
- Generation pf production schedules/plans
- Capacity Planning
- Liaison with internal stakeholders - Engineering, Projects, Procurement etc
- Analyse/monitor inventory levels
- Seek to improve processes around MRP/ERP planning.
Production Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous production planning or production scheduling experience
- MRP/ERP experience
- Organised, detail-focused and analytical
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
