Introduction

Barclay Meade HR & Talent are recruiting for a Resourcing Advisor to join a growing team within a well established organisation in the Docklands area on a hybrid and permanent basis.

The Job

The Resourcing Advisor will report directly to the Resourcing Manager and will work as part of a small resourcing team who support the organisation with their resourcing needs.

The Resourcing Advisor Responsibilities:

- To provide expert and professional advice on resourcing issues, advising line managers on the application

- To develop MI and take a lead role in a discreet area of activity such as agency engagement, assessment centres and salary benchmarking

- Undertake resourcing focused project work

- To provide and analyse statistical information as requested

- To keep abreast of developments in employment legislation, case law and best practice in relations to resourcing to ensure that UEL is compliant, feeding back to the Resourcing Manager any developments in such areas in a timely manner

- To assist the Resourcing Manager with content, design and delivery of information sessions on resourcing and apprenticeship policies and procedures and to provide relevant one-to-one recruitment training as necessary

- To work flexibly by undertaking transactional HR administration

- To undertake project development work in collaboration with the Resourcing Manager

The Resourcing Advisor Skills:

- CIPD Qualification or working towards

- Recruitment experience in a large, complex organisation with a focus on customer service

- Knowledge of UK employment law and current recruitment and apprentice trends and appreciation of related equality and diversity issues

- Experience of utilising a database

- Experience and knowledge of the Higher Education or Further Education sectors

- Good written and verbal communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills

- Experience of working independently, planning, prioritising and excellent organisation skills

This is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days being based in the office and the rest working from home.
