Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Manager

My clients who are a leading multi-national business are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Manager based in Stevenage to join on a permanent basis.

Role - Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Manager

Location - Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Type - Permanent position

Salary - £45,000 - £60,000 + bonus + benefits

Key responsibilities of the Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Manager role and not be limited to:

• Responsible for developing strategies and driving functional improvement within the Procurement & Supply Chain functions
• Being the subject matter expert driving continuous improvement throughout the supply chain function
• Develop and lead an effective supply chain excellence reporting methodology to enable measurement and identification of gaps and issues
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure that internal controls are identified, embedded and maintained
• Run the coordination of end-to-end supply chain excellence and best practice activities
• Build and develop strong, collaborative internal and external relationships at all levels, to provide support and guidance, champion supply chain excellence and best practice and optimise end to end supply chain performance

Key skills and experience required for Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence Manager role and not limited to:

• Proven experience within a Procurement and/or supply chain role, ideally within a matrix organisation
• Working knowledge of Procurement & Supply Chain excellence, best practice, risk management, governance or similar would be a big bonus
• Proven track record in providing functional support and driving efficiency
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
