My client have a fantastic permanent opportunity to join them as a senior supply planner
My client are are looking for a passionate and determined individual who has a range of experience in a Planning or Logistics role previous work in a retail or manufacturing industry would be ideal. The successful candidate will support the short term manager in their responsibilities and provide support to the whole team.
Location - Near to Petersfield
Salary - Competative plus great benefits
The roles and responsibilties of the planner will be -
Attain the pre set service level for our customers.
Place and monitor inter company orders.
Prepare and actively participate in the day to day scheduling meeting, the weekly production
meetings / bulk planning meetings and supply planning meetings, with the aim of attaining the
agreed production plan and pre set service.
Ensure that shipments reach customers on time by monitoring the shipments (inter plant WIP).
The ideal candidate for the planner will have -
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Planning/ Logistics role within a relevant industry
Knowledge and experience in SAP APO
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Able to efficiently manage big volumes of data
Skill in setting and reassessing priorities in response to changing needs.
Numeracy skills constant use of figures and financial data.
High level skills in written communication drafting memos, letters and reports.
