The Production Coordinator will work closely with colleagues in engineering, production and the wider planning team to streamline and improve the NPI process. Expediting internally the Production Coordinator will be required to drive processes, alongside strategically designing new manufacturing plans. The Production
Specific duties of the Production Coordinator include:
- Create work packs and generate works orders
- Internal liaison and expediting - Production, NPI, Stores, Kitting
- Prepare production areas and work stations
- Ensure material availability of Kanban items
- Track and report on manufacturing processes
- Data management of the production and manufacturing processes
Production Coordinator applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing business within a; planning, expediting or process engineering role
- Understanding of MRP/ERP systems
- Familiarity with works orders and technical drawings
- Analytical and methodical - able to support process design and improvement
- Interest in new products and technology
