The Job

Our client are a leader in the automotive industry, and have the opportunity for a Logistics planner to join their supply chain team on an initial 12 month contract.

The opportunity is to join the Logistics Planning Team, planning the supply chain and developing the packaging to ensure the right part is delivered, at the right time, with the right quality to production, from over 950 suppliers around the world. Also working with our central planning team for new product integration & evaluations. Supporting the development of supply chains and packaging for our bespoke elements and series changes to the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of the packaging and supply data for 25,000+ parts
  • Packaging Improvements and design
  • Systems update and process monitoring
  • Supplier alignments
  • Evaluate introduction of bespoke parts
  • Process optimisation & Improvements

Key Skills

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of logistic processes
  • Packaging Knowledge is an advantage
  • Microsoft
  • Data analysis
  • Good communication skills, influencing and negotiations
  • SAP
