Job description
Electrical Installation Assessor
My client are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical professional for the role of Electrical Installation Assessor. With training centres located in Burgess Hill.
This position is ideal for individuals with prior assessing experience or those interested in transitioning into education, offering a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the electrical industry by mentoring the next generation of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department colleagues and the Curriculum Leader to ensure efficient assessment processes for learners.
Plan, design, and deliver assessment programmes and sessions, aligning with course objectives, assessment methods, and accreditation standards.
Regularly monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of assessment processes, sessions, and personal practice.
Travel across the South of England, with occasional travel beyond. A company vehicle will be provided, which may be used for personal purposes, subject to HMRC requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrotechnical Installation.
AM2/AM2S/AM2E or a valid Gold Card.
Flexibility and adaptability regarding working hours, patterns, and arrangements.
A full and clean UK driving licence.
Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Desirable:
Assessor award.
Level 2 teaching qualification.
