Barclay Meade is 100% committed to training and development for all staff across all areas of the business.
We have invested in building an experienced team of Training and Development Specialists to ensure that all new staff joining the business are fully equipped with all the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at the highest level.
Our training programme has been developed to be one of the most comprehensive and supportive training programmes within the recruitment industry. We are so confident in the effectiveness of our training that many of our core recruits are graduates with no experience in sales or recruitment.
We sponsor all of our consultants to study for the 'Certificate in Recruitment Practice' with the REC.
We are extremely proud of our 'lower than industry average' staff turnover and intend to maintain that enviable status. We truly understand that a commitment to training and development has a massive impact on staff engagement and loyalty. As a result we invest heavily in our staff.
The certificate in Recruitment Practice is a nationally recognised recruitment qualification developed jointly by the REC and key employers. It is a must-have for anyone working as a recruitment consultant.
Barclay Meade enrols all new Consultants onto this study course at the earliest opportunity after 9 months service.
The course requires consultants to study in their own time, submit coursework and then sit a final exam.
Once this qualification is achieved a consultant becomes a Member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (MIRP). We pay IRP membership fees for all staff.
