How aware are you of government-led programmes to reduce UK unemployment by helping the unemployed, the young and apprentices into work?
Alderwood, a sister company of Barclay Meade, are specialist recruiters for organisations delivering government contracts to help the long-term unemployed/ disadvantaged into work and place apprentices into industry.
As you may already be aware, the coalition government has committed considerable investment into such programmes, with the overall goals of reducing the UK's unemployment levels and addressing skills shortages. In order to achieve these goals, it is critical that organisations across the UK (of all sizes and from all industry sectors) are aware of and encouraged to recruit individuals from these programmes. As such, Alderwood are in the process of conducting a research study (via a short survey) into both awareness and opinions of these programmes amongst businesses and employing organisations throughout the UK. The findings will be disseminated amongst the press, industry bodies and key political figures.
Whether your organisation currently recruit such individuals, or you have never heard of the schemes, we would really value your opinion through completing a short, multiple-choice survey. It will only take 5 minutes to complete and can be entirely anonymous.

We are looking to gather data from a cross-section of organisations, so the size of your company, industry sector and geographical location is irrelevant.
Many thanks in advance for your cooperation. If you would like further details about the survey, Please contact Kimberley Pascoe - Operations Manager, Alderwood on 01489 873488.
